To kick of this project and get some inspiration we went to the castle and did some sketches. I really liked the birds and the pelicans, has made me think of including some kind of beak in my beast?
I also like the idea of fur and feathers, perhaps a weird bird/bear hybrid.
The squid and octopus also took my attention, I find the multiple legs creepy and cool.
